I looked up the economic indicator chart and put them into the Tableau. I screened all the data provided by the CSV file and chose all the factors related to what I wanted. Then, I made it into a bar chart. However, the bar chart is not clear enough to do the comparison, so I changed it into a line graph.
Three questions:
How does the unemployment rate correlate with housing market indicators? An analysis could involve plotting the unemployment rate against median housing prices, foreclosure deeds, and housing sales volume over time. This could reveal insights into how economic health influences the housing market.
What is the impact of new housing construction on the job market? We can assess how construction activity affects overall employment by examining the relationship between new housing construction permits or pipeline construction jobs and the total number of jobs.
How do economic indicators react to seasonal trends throughout the year? A visual analysis of the entire dataset across different years, focusing on seasonal patterns for variables like total jobs, labor force participation rate, and new housing construction permits, could reveal critical seasonal trends in economic activity.
